Welcome to Team DeFilippo Family!!! Team DeFilippo Family (TD Family) is a grassroots, non-profit organization that has been created to honor the legendary Coach Lou DeFilippo and his wife, Dolly. We are in the process of setting up the Lou and Dolly DeFilippo Scholarship which will award a $1,000 scholarship each to both a male and female graduating student of Derby High School. Derby football has been around for over 100 years. From 1968 through 1982, we were fortunate enough to have Coach DeFilippo guiding our program. The DeFilippo's shared their lives and values (both on and off the field) with each of us, and many of their core values continue to remain with us. THIS JUST IN IN!!! The 2nd Annual Red-White Picnic is scheduled to be held at the Picnic Grove in Derby on Saturday, June 9th. There will be an initial meeting Tuesday, May 1st at Frankies in Derby. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. We're looking for volunteers, donations, raffle prizes, and anything else you could offer to make the 2nd Annual Picnic as successful as our first.
